The Torre Moravola was completed in 2008 by Hong Kong-based architectural firm Studio Mackenzie-Chong Design. It is a former tower at the top of a hill in Montone, Italy that changed its design into a contemporary boutique hotel.
The tower is surrounded by terraces, oak woods, olive groves and fruit orchards. The energy for hot water and heating is supplied by the solar panels and there’s also a system that collects the rainwater which is afterwards used for irrigation.
The building is divided into four floors that accommodate six suites and one double room.

Restoring Torre Moravola is a beautiful reminder that architecture can honor history while embracing sustainability, blending the past and future in harmony with nature’s rhythms and human ingenuity. It’s a testament to thoughtful preservation.
Thank you for your thoughtful insight! We aimed to honor Torre Moravola’s rich history while integrating sustainable design, creating a space where heritage and innovation coexist seamlessly. Your appreciation means a lot to us.
