The Yachting Club Villas at Elounda Beach were completed in 2008 by the Swiss architectural firm Davide Macullo Architects.
These modern villas are part of the Elounda Beach Resort which is one of the world’s leading hotels located on the island of Crete, Greece.
Resembling the look of an anchored yacht, these villas act as a link between the land and the sea.
The exterior walls are made of natural grey stone for the construction to keep the harmony with the local environment, while the interior is enveloped in warm colors due to the natural materials such as wood and leather that give people the sensation of a discreet opulent atmosphere.
The main idea behind the interior design was to create a luxurious space that was supposed to allow the sea and views to enter into the villa.
At the Elounda all is relied on natural because all the materials chosen are simple, natural and luxurious.
The privacy is offered to the clients by the three deck levels, one at the villa level, a lower private one and another one at the sea level.
Staying here is definitely an amazing experience!
