Traditional Brotherton Barn by The Anderson Orr Partnership

The Brotherton Barn is a former barn converted by The Anderson Orr Partnership into a rustic residence, and is located in Pusey, Oxfordshire, .

The decision of lowering the new construction into the ground was taken by the architects in order to add space to the home.

A floating staircase and gallery was designed to make the connection between the open plan living area and the master bedroom suite.

Because the roof collapsed, Carpenter Oak & Woodland were employed to repair it by using traditional techniques that complement the contemporary modern lines.
