Its steel frame was designed using a state-of-the-art 3D modeling system, and it includes a 33′ frameless glass door system as well as cantilevered decks with glass railings. The house was built on top of a rocky site that offers breathtaking panoramas of the ocean and of Catalina Island.

The private living areas consist of six bathrooms and four bedrooms, while the social spaces comprise a media room, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area for six. Access between the three levels is achieved via a wooden staircase and a glass elevator. From the architect:

State of the art 3D structural modeling was used to a three level steel frame with cantilevered beams allowing full width views at all three levels. The 33′ frameless glass door system slides and stacks magnetically at each side.

This residence sits atop a rocky outcrop above a seacave with the cantilevered decks floating out from the bluff face 60′ above the beach below.
