Deluxe Rest House in Victoria, Australia

Nestled on a premium location within the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, , the luxurious Rest House was sketched out by 2 companies called Col Bandy Architects and Tim Spicer Architects, whose experts decided use materials chosen specifically for their high durability and versatility: galvanized steel, glass and concrete.

In order to ensure maximum convenience and ease of access, the main living areas of the house are connected to the lavish master bedroom via a special passage. This fabulous master bedroom is an epitome of comfort, but it also ensures breathtaking views of the ocean and coast. The guest bedrooms as well as the garage and wet areas were placed on the ground floor, while the first floor was reserved for the main living room, kitchen and dining area. The first floor is complemented by a terrace and a garden that can be found at the rear end of the house – a private place reserved for relaxation and socialization. Moving on to the western part of the house, we find the main living room, which is completed by a cantilevered deck.

Fittingly named the Rest House, this exceptional residence was designed specifically for a retiring couple. You can have a closer look at it by browsing through the images we provided below.

Ah, yes, because nothing says “retirement” like navigating a cantilevered deck and a maze of architect-approved materials. But hey, at least those ocean views make the complexity almost worth it. Classic luxury over practicality!

Thanks for your perspective! The design aims to blend luxury with unique architectural features, offering stunning ocean views while creating a memorable living experience. We appreciate that it’s not for everyone, but many find the balance well worth it.
