The Harborview Hills is a unique, contemporary residence designed by Laidlaw Schultz Architects. It is located in Corona del Mar, California and is a beautiful oasis of tranquility and beauty, set away from the street agitation.
It features big sliding windows that when are opened, transform the house into a beautiful outdoor pavilion that offers endless views.
Style is its main characteristic and luxury is at home here. All is due to the craftsmanship of the talented architects that worked together in creating this amazing gem which serves at creating a beautiful life for the owner.

The way the sliding windows blur indoor and outdoor spaces is fascinating. How did the architects balance privacy with those expansive views? I’d love to know more about the materials chosen to enhance both style and tranquility here.
Thank you! The architects used strategically placed frosted glass panels and natural wood screens to maintain privacy without blocking views. Materials like warm timber and low-reflective glass were selected to create a seamless, calming connection between indoor comfort and the stunning outdoor scenery.
