The beautiful Cascade House was built in 2010 by Peter Gluck and Partners in Chicago, Michigan. It is a single-family lakeside home with three stories, a basketball court, an outdoor recreational pool, and superb views of Lake Michigan and the surroundings.
Luxe facilities also include a gym, lap pool, steam room, and wonderful outdoor living and entertaining spaces. For energy efficiency, the house was provided with geothermal heating system. In order to minimize the building’s bulk and impact, a significant part of the construction was mined into the bluff. Then these special areas were covered with terraces and lawns, thus visually integrating the house into the natural landscape, while also ensuring unobstructed views.
