The tranquil Catch the Tree Spa in Las Condes, Santiago, Chile was completed in 2010 by LAND Arquitectos. By using completely transparent glass walls, the architects managed to almost entirely erase the indoor-outdoor boundaries, thus enhancing the feeling of perpetual relationship with nature. Skylights bring the sun inside the facility, helping guests to relax and fully enjoy the experience.
Another element that plays a very important role in the design of this spa is the terraced garden that can be easily admired even while inside the building. This space was created as an “active landscape”, fulfilling more purposes that that of being visually pleasing. The garden holds Rosemary, Capers, Laurel, Lavender, eating herbs, and even a place to farm. Everything that grows here is used inside the facility for the wellness of all guests.
