Small Yet Comfortable OZ House In São Paulo, Brazil

Even though it offers just 1,937 square feet of living space, the OZ House is a comfortable and welcoming summer house that can be found within a town called Sao Roque, about 37 miles away from São Paulo in Brazil. The abode was designed by Andrade Morettin Arquitetos Associados and was completed in 2013. It was created to serve as a quiet retreat during weekends or short vacations, and it boasts a linear design that allows it to frame the views of its surroundings efficiently.

The construction process involved the use of a modular wooden structure and exposed concrete elements complemented by metal tiles for the roof and façade cladding and polystyrene for the insulation. Accommodations include 2 bedrooms and a living room that incorporates the kitchen. Sliding glass doors ensure a direct link with the encircling environment thus fading the limits between the indoor and outdoor spaces.
