The House in Costa d’en Blanes was completed in 2009 by SANCHEZ-CANTALEJO+TOMAS and, as its name suggests, it is situated in Costa d’en Blanes, Mallorca, Spain.
The owners wanted a house with a totally new design, so the old residence was demolished to make room for the current one. The designers positioned the night area on the ground floor and the day area on the upper floor, as it provides beautiful views of the surroundings and privacy at the same time.
This two-level modern home has a simple and practical design. The house resembles a folded concrete ribbon, with each of the lateral slabs containing the facilities on each floor. Glass was used for the lateral enclosures.
This spacious home includes a pool, solarium, a covered terrace, an open terrace, a lounge and a patio terrace, all offering magnificent views of the surrounding area.
