The Almondel Residence is located in West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and features an area of 7,260 sq. ft. This gorgeous house was designed by Lisa Bovell of Mcleod Bovell which had the ability and talent to create a special place perfect for everyday living. It took three years to be designed and built after the old construction was brought down to its foundations. It has everything you need in a house and more, featuring 4/5 spacious bedrooms, 4 en-suited bathrooms, a gym, a theatre, a special space for the the wine room, a 4 car garage, a hot tub and also an incredible swimming pool that offers an amazing view over the ocean. This residence is on sale and you could be the owner!
What specific design choices allowed the Mcleod Bovell team to balance such a grand scale with that cozy, everyday livability? I’m curious how they integrated those high-end amenities without losing the home’s warmth.
Great question! We prioritized natural light and warm timber accents to soften the grand scale. By integrating the amenities seamlessly into the layout, we maintained a cohesive flow that feels inviting rather than imposing, ensuring the home remains a comfortable, everyday sanctuary.
