The House Booth in Punta Ballena, Maldonado, Uruguay was completed in 2009 by Marcelo Daglio Arquitectos. This beautiful 360 sqm property conserved the spirit of the original project in terms of implantation.
The architecture was carefully implemented so that the old and the new elements could nicely merge.
The materials used are the ones under the concept of zero maintenance that provide the house an old aspect in the natural way; these are lapacho woods in grids and steel sections in the second storey volume.
The new program, arranged according to customer requirements, accommodates a guest house, a barbeque, a yoga room and a swimming pool.
Due to the craftsmanship of the architects, the house has received rave reviews by the National Heritage Commission.
