Northbridge House is located in the area of Sydney, where the vegetation still dominates the human footprint. Roth Architecture integrated contemporary industrial materials into the natural Australian landscape.
This home’s solid street appearance opens at the rear and cascades down the inclined site. Because of the use of timber, the interior design was softened and provided with texture, rhythm and balance.
The main materials used in building the house were: rendered masonry, zinc cladding, spotted gum trims and details and polished concrete.
