This luxurious 6,709-squre-foot residence is located in Las Vegas, Nevada, Texas. DesignCell Architecture remodeled and expanded an existing house, adding a new wing and a free standing casita.
This changed completely the appearance of the old house, and gave the architects the possibility to create a beautiful private interior courtyard, connected with the public and entertainment areas of the residence. The two-story house features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a kitchen and a dining-living area. It is on sale for $2.5 million.

The blend of old and new must create fascinating contrasts. How did DesignCell balance preserving the original character while adding modern luxury? I’m curious about the materials and design choices for the private courtyard—any unique features there?
DesignCell carefully retained original architectural elements, using warm wood and stone to honor the past. For the courtyard, they incorporated sleek glass and metal accents alongside native plants, creating a serene, modern oasis that complements the home’s historic charm beautifully.
