Fioravanti Poolhouse is a wonderful residence located in Prato, Italy, which was designed by MDU Architects. It is placed on a lot surrounded by beautiful views, on the Bisenzio River’s valley which is emphasized by wooded areas, fields and olive-groves.
On the higher level of the plot you will find a large outdoor swimming pool that connects with the garden and the landscape and is framed by Cardoso marble leading to the pool-house.
The north façade of the construction which is opposite to the pool includes some stone blocks that create a counterpoint to an adjoining wooded area. An ethereal volume, which is conceived as a modern version of the barn typology, rests on the stone blocks.
