House Ven is an idyllic family home, which was designed by StudioWJ Architects.  This elegant residence is located in Mossel Bay, on the Garden Route in South Africa.

The Indian Ocean pampers this 1000 square meters home with incredible views over its impressive waves, which can be seen from all the rooms, including the living areas, the three en-suite bedrooms on the upper level and the two en-suite guest bedrooms on the ground level. The large glass sliding panels that open the house towards the north are very helpful in this way.

The area where the family spends more time is the kitchen, which is strategically placed to enjoy prime ocean views.

The natural light and the warmth are permitted to enter the house because of the roof that is detached from the walls and floats above the house.
