This incredibly modern single family home was dubbed La Sentinelle, and it can be found in Quebec, Canada overlooking the magnificent “Lac-de-la-Cabane”. The home was built using a distinct L-shape because of certain topography limitations, which led to the separation of the adults and children living areas into two blocks, one being placed slightly higher than the other.
Since the family includes 3 children, the lower block was reserved as a “kid’s space”, which is why it features a games room as well as 3 separate bedrooms, thus ensuring much needed privacy and quiet for the parents’ areas. The upper block comprises a lavish master bedroom as well as the main living quarters, all beautifully decorated and outfitted with modern amenities and comforts.
Featuring breathtaking views of the surrounding natural environment, the house was named The Sentinel since it sits perched on an elevated position overlooking the aforementioned lake as a giant guardian or even a majestic bird.
