Kofunaki House is a wonderful project by Japanese studio ALTS Design Office, completed this year (2012) in Shiga prefecture on the western part of Honshu island, Japan. It is a 1,424-square-foot contemporary residence with two stories and warm, spacious interiors. It is a home where man and nature enjoy a close relationship, with plants, stone and natural wood dominating the entire design.
