The stunning La Luge house is much more than a mere shelter from the elements – it is a sanctuary of relaxation and wellness. Designed by a company called YH2 Architects, this splendid home in Quebec, Canada is surrounded by tall trees and lush vegetation. However, what makes this abode really special is that it flaunts its own private spa that happens to occupy approximately one third of the total available living space.
Consequently, the residence is highly versatile, featuring large sliding doors that can be used to transform and reorganize the main living areas accordingly in order to accommodate a large number of guests. The house comprises 2 main volumes that were built using essences of cedar, walnut and oak, and they blend seamlessly even though they feature different heights and different colors.
