The Watergate Apartment, Washington

Robert Gurney Architect studio completed the renovation of this beautiful 1,250-square-foot apartment situated in Washington. The end result is a modern, luxurious and spacious flat, which offers magnificent views of the surroundings.

The Watergate Apartment has only one bedroom, one and a half bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The bedroom’s design follows the same pattern as the entire space, giving a feel of continuity. A grey, marble-like sink draws attention when entering the spacious bathroom, offering the space a futuristic touch. The apartment also has plenty of storage space, so one doesn’t have to worry about that detail.

Its simplicity exudes an elegant feel, and the comfortable furnishings invite one to relax and forget about it all. The beautiful shades of white, brown and black were smartly chosen, as they match perfectly with the entire design of the flat.
