Casa LC is a 2,000 sq m home located in Mexico City, Mexico, which was designed by Art Arquitectos. Viewed from the outside, the constructions seems to follow traditional lines, but as you step inside you’ll discover a space that mixes old with new in order to create a unique and innovative dwelling.
The social area surrounds the grand central circular patio which includes a water mirror with irregular islets and central stream, while the private area is created by a square patio emphasized by an orange tree that floats in the middle of the islets inside of a water mirror. The entertainment area is very diverse, including a swimming track, a gaming room, a home theatre, a gym, a bathroom and a small guest house. These are the three different areas of the house which are connected through hallways to a semi private area that features a TV room and the breakfast room.
The amenities also include the grand garden with a barbeque-chalet, a pond with cascade and a jogging track, a semi-covered garage for 8 cars and also 4 sculptures placed in the main ends of the house that represent Earth, Fire, Water and Wind, created by the artist Carlos Marín.
