The Cloister House is located in Kukio Point, Hawaii and it was designed by ZAK Architecture who tried to preserve the warmth inside and out by using rich wood accents and high ceilings. The central point is the garden around which the building is arranged. All rooms are connected to the garden cloister, enjoying in this way the cool breezes that flow throughout.
The axial circulation sequence is another organizing element that begins from the auto court, continues with the entry gatehouse, garden cloister, entry lanai, and arrives to the poolside living lanai.
