Studio MK27 built Studio R which is a photography studio located in São Paulo, Brazil. Because the photographers need a lot of natural light in order to do their work well, this place has been built with openable walls that invite the light in.
The swinging metal gates from the entry allow fluidity between the gardens and the open space and when opened make all the visual barriers disappear.
A volume with metallic materials separates the rooms and the corridors from the first level by organizing the space.
Because a photography studio has to transform itself constantly, this one displays an industrial aesthetic due to the material used.
