House Pedralbes is a family home located in the upper area of Barcelona, Spain, completed by the Spanish architectural firm BCarquitectos in 2011. This 10,225 square foot contemporary residence is protected from the street noise by a wooden façade.
Because the owners wanted to have a spacious garden, the building was moved to the rear of the site. The main entrance of the construction is set in the middle part of the first floor. The basement, the first, second and third floors were created following the longitudinal form of the terrain, including in the middle the stairwell and the elevator. The basement and the garage include storage rooms, the exercise room, the wine cellar and the gym at the back of the garden.
The second floor accommodates the bedrooms, the studio and terraces, while on the third floor there are the master bedroom and the terraces. To all these, it was added a lap pool.
