House on the Bay is a two-story residence completed in 2010 by Andrey Tiguntsev, a Russian architect. The house is located in Mill Fold village, on Irkutsk Reservoir in Russia. Combining contemporary and traditional architecture, this project impresses with its overwhelming openness. It has a shiny glass façade that ensures an uninterrupted interior-exterior communication.
This glazed façade also works as a very efficient means of keeping the cold Russian temperatures from entering the home. While the glass invited natural light into every corner, it also blocks winds and snow from disturbing the peace of the residence.
All furnishings and interior decors make the House on the Bay a warm and welcoming dwelling, with a very alluring elegant vibe. See below how wonderful this contemporary residence is, as it stands against the cold nature outside.
