FS House Is A Modern Masterpiece In Avaré, São Paulo, Brazil

Completed in 2009 by the expert architects at Andrade Morettin Arquitetos Associados, the FS House can be found in Avaré, São Paulo, Brazil, and it covers an area of 11,248 square feet. The residence can be found on a large 43-acre property that features few forms of vegetation, which is why it flaunts an elongated, low-key design. To be more specific, the design involves a very long pavilion with a single floor that has a large roof above its main entryway and meeting area.

The FS House boasts 2 important concrete blocks that embrace the entire length of the residence while supporting the roofs of the different volumes, collecting rainwater and ensuring much needed shade. These volumes house the main accommodation options such as the bedrooms and the bathrooms, while the social spaces such as the living room, kitchen and porch are found under the large roof near the entry area. Flaunting breathtaking views of its surroundings, this originally designed residence is definitely impressive as far as comfort, convenience and luxury is concerned.

The architects that were in charge of the construction process are named Marcelo Morettin and Vinicius Andrade, who worked closely with the design team composed of Thiago Natal Duarte, Merten Nefs, Marcelo Maia Rosa and Renata Andrulis. The lighting systems were implemented by Reka iluminação, the landscape architects worked at Isabel Duprat Arquitetura Paisagística and the installation was taken care of by KML Engenharia. Last but not least, we should also mention that the structural engineers represented a firm called Aiello Engenharia, while the project coordinators were Marcio Tanaka and Marina Mermelstein.
