The Banyan Tree Lijiang Resort in Lijiang, China is a prizewinning luxury resort that beautifully reflects the history of the site. It was awarded with the Best Luxury Hotel and Best Spa Resort in China at the 2007 China Hotel Starlight Awards.

It was majestically built on the background of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. This gorgeous resort preserves the principles of traditional Chinese architecture and the local Naxi culture. It was built like the local homes, by conserving the characteristics of Han China and Tibet civilizations in the land.

It’s lovely in pictures but we bet it is extraordinary in reality!
