Waiatarua House located in Auckland, New Zealand was designed by Hamish Monk Architecture in 2012. One of the challenges in building the house was to insert a bold intervention into a bush reserve, in the same time keeping a sense of modesty and poetic.
Because the owners love tranquility, it was sought a place devoid of excessive articulation and noise. The entire home offers numerous special experiences, from the moment you step its threshold.
