Wall House is a project that consists in two independent houses that look alike and form a unified whole. It was designed by the Singapore-based architects FARM who created this home for a couple of retired parents and one of their children.
The fact that the construction is separated into two blocks is part of the requirement of the owners. Practically, it includes a two-storey block that features the main living and the master bedroom area and a single-storey block that houses the entertainment area. These two volumes are connected through a large central courtyard that features an austere geometry and six willow trees.
The design of the landscape surrounding the residence was inspired by the philosophy of classical Chinese Garden, where the sight lines and the spaces overlap.
