This impressive duplex apartment is located at the top of a building in Kiev, Ukraine. It was recently renovated by 2B Group, according to the client’s clear specifications. It is a four-bedroom, two-bathroom penthouse that offers 4,000 square feet of alluring spaces, made only with eco-friendly materials: concrete, metal and wood.
The client is a young man with a 7-year-old kid. He wanted nothing artificial and shiny, only nice and warm materials throughout. There is no plastic in the house, no moldings on the ceiling, and no multi-level gypsum panels.
2B Group worked for one year on the development of the concept alone. The project design and the engineering process that took place before the actual construction required a lot of time and effort. When this stage was completed, the construction started and then lasted for another year and a half, even though it was done at a very high speed. As the work advanced, new ideas and solutions asked for continual changes and adaptations. The effort was completely worth it, as the photos below show.
