This incredible apartment can be found in Russia‘s capital of Moscow, and it was the focus of a remarkable renovation project carried out by Vladimir Malashonok. The residence was originally designed for a family of two and boasted a distinct minimalistic allure.
The renovation was intended to preserve the original design cues of the apartment while also maintaining its neutral and minimalistic feel. The transformation was centered on the combined space for the living room, kitchen and dining room, but the gymnasium, master bedroom and bathroom were also revamped accordingly.
Since the entire project was based on neutral tones of black, white and gray, the designer focused more on the contrast of shapes and textures in order to create a dramatic effect. The choice of materials revolved around gypsum, tiles and laminated panels. You can see the result by browsing through the following images.
