Atelier Heiss Architects completed this beautiful house in 2007. It was actually an extension project, based on an existing residence in Vienna, Austria. The architects kept the original street façade, while drastically changing everything else. The house, called House S, shows a rather conventional face towards the neighborhood, helping it perfectly blend into the environment.
On the other side however, things are much different: the home opens towards the green garden and pool, in a generous gesture specific to contemporary homes. Its lovely outdoor living area invites owners and guests to enjoy the sunny days next to the compact swimming pool. The interiors are also truly impressive, with fine materials and minimalist furnishings.
