The House Like Village in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, is a construction that changed function but kept its identity after being transformed from an old harbor-cantina into large apartments.
The project was put together thanks to Marc Koehler Architects. The building consists of 4 smaller houses, between them being set an open multifunctional space.
The second level accommodates the cooking area, the dining area, a working space and also a guest house, all being linked by walking bridges.
There is still a part of the space that was left open and that could be used in the future to build extra houses.
