The Washington Park Hilltop Residence located in Seattle, Washington was designed by Stuart Silk Architects.
It is set on a bluff overlooking Lake Washington and water is the leitmotif in this house. For the water to be experienced inside and out, it was evolved a plan to integrate it.
Because stability was a major concern for the architects, there were incorporated many options in order to contribute to the projects durability and efficiency.
The construction has a simple geometry but it offers rich juxtaposition of solidity, transparency and liquid movement.
