The spectacular residence that you have before your eyes can be found in close proximity to Los Angeles‘ Venice Canals, and it was designed by experts from Glen Irani Architects. As the third Hover House project signed by Glen Irani Architects, this exquisite abode offers exceptional living arrangements on the inside, while its outdoors tempts with great opportunities for relaxation.
The residence was skillfully designed in order to effectively “hover” above the grade level in order to make room for various outdoor living arrangements. Boasting 2,500 square feet of living space, the home boasts 3 bedrooms and 2 offices as well as a magnificent dining room, a kitchen and a study area. Apart from its incredible looks and comforts, the Hover House also benefits from an array of self-sustaining features. These include radiant hydronic heating, photovoltaic panels placed on its roof and natural ventilation that is achieved through the clever placement of windows. As such, the residence is able to generate 80% of its required energy output via its photovoltaic panels alone, while the natural ventilation ensures optimum cooling efficiency thus eliminating the need for air conditioning systems.
