Modern 212 House by Alfonso Reina

Alfonso Reina has designed the 212 House located in Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain.

The valley of pine and almond trees near the house and the decision of raising the ground level eight feet over the street level contribute to the good views and luminosity of the residence.

It features clean and concise forms, while its cubic main façade acts as a privileged balcony oriented towards the forest. The master bedroom faces south, while the bathroom with the large window is facing east in order to contemplate the sunrise and the lines of an antique Majorcan dependency.

The entire residence is flooded by natural light due to the many windows and the skylight located on the second floor.

The warmth of the house is given by the white present all over the house, which contrasts with the merbau wood floor.

The stone terraces, the swimming pool made of white rectangular tile topped by a wooden deck that cantilevers over the water and also the beautiful garden are contributing to the beauty of the outdoor area.
