The Rieteiland House is a unique piece of architecture designed by Hans van Heeswijk Architects. It is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and is set on a plot of land, part of a newly established island at IJburg.
It offers panoramic views of the park and the surroundings due to the façade on the waterside covered in glass form the lower level to the upper level.
The street façade is accessorized with horizontal aluminum panels that can be opened automatically to reveal the windows behind them.
It consists of three floors and basement which have a double height and are open. From the house can be watched spectacular sunsets and magnificent sunrises.
