Goring & Straja Architects designed the interior of Autodesk Milano Offices in 2012. The condominium complex is located in Milan, Italy and the designers had in mind for the office to mix Italian flair with international spirit.
There were used as many of the existing elements as possible, in the same time adding green design strategies such as natural light, energy-efficient lighting, daylight and occupancy sensors, low-flow plumbing fixtures, and low-VOC finishes and furniture.
In order to highlight the Italian masonry and fine craftsmanship, there was built a long wall covered with handmade Venetian plaster that acts as a link between the two floors. The green of the wall and the white as a predominant color, make the perfect contrast.
