The architects at DADA & Partners designed a concept house in New Delhi, India. The Overhang House is created of superposed multi-dimensional cubical surfaces.
Walls are made of large blocks of stone, glass, wood sticks, ingeniously mixed to create a unique house. This is the perfect scenery for the light to play upon at night creating tridimensional images.
The garden in the front is paved with grey stone that contrasts with the light colored exterior of the house. While at night the house acts like a light bulb, during the day the exterior light is welcomed inside by the glass walls. The modern interior design is based on simple colors, mainly white and black, with dashes of strong colors like red and yellow.
Behind the impressive façade of the house hides a good use of interior spaces.
