ART[house] in Omaha by TACKarchitects

Created by TACKarchitects, ART[house] is one of those projects whose obvious purpose is to blur the lines between interior and exterior spaces. The owner has a remarkable collection of works of art, so this home had to also work as a fine gallery for these remarkable pieces.

All rooms enjoy beautifully framed views of the outdoors as well as sliding glass doors that ensure an easy transition from inside to the inviting backyard. The main living space with 16-foot ceiling works as a point of connection between the house’s three main wings. The different wings hold all the other rooms, organized by function.

There is a centrally situated “wet cube” in the house, featuring white reflective automotive paint finish. This space works as a kitchen pantry while also delineating the different functional zones of the residence. Check out the gallery for more photos of the ART[house] in Omaha, Nebraska.
