Probably the best thing about this residence are its breathtaking views. Located in Retiro, Antioquia, Colombia, it is set on a hill, overlooking superb nearby mountains. Named Lago en Cielo (Lake in the Sky), this contemporary residence by David Ramirez Arquitectos is a rare gem.

It flaunts 3,789 square feet of lavish spaces, spread on two levels, but that doesn’t mean this is an easy house to spot. Surrounded by  a lush vegetation and naturally following the shape of the mountain, the mansion blends into the landscape.

Superimposed volumes feature solid and dense elements interrupted by transparent glass walls, which give the residence a sense of lightness. The interiors are all classy and inviting, with luxe furniture, elegant decors, and a lovely color palette. We love every aspect of this stunning house.
