JKC1 House is a single family residence, recently completed by ONG&ONG Singapore-based studio. The house is situated in the most expensive district in Singapore, called Bukit Timah.
The building has two floors. The first one is occupied by the kitchen, laundry, and the living and dining area, which forms a continuous space that opens towards the pool and the front lawn.
The second floor includes the master suite with bathroom and walk-in wardrobe at one side, and the children’s bedrooms and play room at the other side. In the middle of the floor was built a multi-purpose area for the family. A wide terrace, which can be accessed from the courtyard using a spiral staircase, is situated above the second level. This area is ideal for relaxing and entertaining, a place where guests and family can have a BBQ and admire the beautiful surroundings.
