Turett Collaborative Architects have designed the 2 North Moore, a two-story brick building on the corner of West Broadway and N. Moore Street in New York, USA. The French- double-hung windows, the low massing, the exquisite location and the special corbelled brickwork, really make it special.
This jewelry was rebuilt from scratch, brick by brick and detail by detail, its original design being preserved on the outside.
An open-air courtyard is sited at the second floor where the old and new are interconnected, also housing a living room, a dining and kitchen area and a media room. On the roof, a beautiful irrigated roof garden covers all the available space and floods the living spaces with light.
All the amenities in the house are available for the owners making their life easier. Aside from all the utilities, this home contributes to the everyday-dose of joy.
