House D&H is a residential building designed for a family with 7 children, located in Helmond, a small city in the province of North Brabant, in the southern Netherlands. The Dutch studio CKX Architects came with the solution: a large house with a small home office area, which could accommodate nine members of a family and could provide privacy for each one of them. The final touch consisted in a play of Dutch modernist architecture with white cubic volumes.
The indoor area communicates with the lovely existing garden through the full height glass walls that slide away, creating in this way a beautiful indoor-outdoor living space.
