Casa LC: Elegance and Luxury

Designed by ARCO Arquitectura Contemporánea, Casa LC is a 7,588-square-foot luxurious house, situated in Mexico City, Mexico. The construction of this residence was a challenge for the architects, and many alterations were made to the initial project.

A bedroom was added, the main façade was changed so as to provide more privacy and restrict the access inside the property, a T shape metal structure and canopy were used for the garage, and two archeological stone columns were incorporated for geometrical composition.

The spacious interior has double-height spaces and large windows that allow natural light to flow into the house, and offer magnificent views of the surroundings. The staircase leads to a wooden bridge that separates the main bedroom from the rest of the bedrooms and the family room.

The same materials used for the exterior can be seen in the interior as well: glass, metal, wood and marble. But although the materials complement each other, the living spaces have different and contrasting designs, each splendid and elegant.

The focus point of this residence is the double-height living-dining area, which amazes with its large windows, outstanding furnishings, and the perfect combination between the wall colors, the drape materials and the shades of wood. The beautiful chimney, which divides this space, gives a relaxing and calm feel to the entire room.
