Hillside Modern is a residence perched on a hilltop in the suburban neighborhood of Bellevue, Washington. It was designed by DeForest Architects who turned it into an enchanting and private home despite the fact that it was built very close to the neighbors.
Due to the wall-to-ceiling windows, the house is very well lit and ventilated. The volumes were emphasized by using modern details combined with timeless materials such as oak, walnut, glass and steel.
