The 3,444-square-foot Casa Fenomenológica was completed in 2012 in City Bell, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was designed by Estudio Botteri-Connell as a new home with strong roots to the past. The owners wanted a building that would evoke their dearest childhood memories: “Wide galleries, yards, large halls, basements and attics”.
The young couple that lives here has two small children, which determined them to ask for two distinct areasin the residence. One had to be well organized and formal, while the other had to inspire playfulness and encourage the little ones to be happy. The latter includes a playroom and is ideal for welcoming guests as well.
