Carefully Renovated Record House in Owings Mills

Record House is an old house with a renewed spirit. It is located in Owings Mills, Maryland, and in 1969 it was featured in the Record House issue of Architectural Record. Four decades later, the owners decided to sell the beautiful residence to a young couple, but with one condition: the original character of the project had to be preserved.

Consequently, the new owners contacted David Jameson Architect to help them come up with a facelift that would bring a contemporary feel to the old home, and yet still keep the integrity of the original . The makeover took place in 2010, when some major modifications made the interiors more connected to each other and to the lovely woodland site. See the result in the photos below.
