The South Yarra Pool House is a former stable in Victoria, Australia created by Artillery who designed the interior, the exterior and the surrounding decking.
The design of the Pool House is based on its historic beginnings also being adapted to the modern times by creating subtle shadows.
The transition between the indoor and the outdoor space is eased by the doors designed to fully open.
The natural shading is provided by an existing Elm tree while a skeletal pergola enveloped by a creeper fills the voids with greenery creating even more shading.
Filling the interior with good taste and elegance was easy because of the owners collection of extraordinary furniture and art gathered from their travels abroad.
