The Cove 6 House located in Knysna, South Africa was designed by Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects who obeyed the wishes of the client wanting to own a house inspired by its indigenous fynbos surroundings.
It is perched on a cliff and it takes maximum advantage of the extraordinary views and of the surrounding landscape.
Because they wanted to show respect for the natural attributes of the site, great care has been taken by using materials that complement the natural color palette and the textures of the site.
When building this house, it has been made an abuse of large glazed areas and extensive outdoor spaces because this gorgeous location had to be admired closely.
The key element of this retreat is the simplicity and the finesse of the lines.
